When a customer-facing web-to-print solution is added to the configuration, pricing tables and other information are often duplicated within the customer-facing web solution, with each system needing a separate update as factors change. In the Aleyant/PrintPoint integration, Pressero, a cloud-based application, actually becomes a module of PrintPoint, having native access to the data hosted within PrintPoint. If a pricing change occurs, it is automatically and immediately fed by PrintPoint to Pressero, ensuring that all pricing is current and accurate. In addition, data collected from the shop floor will display full job status information to operators within the plant, passing appropriate data to Pressero to provide customer-facing status information.
